We will meet you on your property to evaluate topography, orientation, views and tree coverage to determine optimal home placement and design. If you do not already have property, then we will help you find the ideal lot to build your custom home.
Prior to designing the home of your dreams, we will assist you in setting up new home construction financing. We are happy to provide you with a list of lending institutions that we know will serve you well or we will work with your preferred lender. The preliminary meeting with a mortgage professional will start the process of securing financing for building the home of your dreams.
This is one of the most important steps of the process and it will begin with our designer, Stuart Batchelor. Stuart is an accomplished designer and a consummate professional. He will listen to your wants and needs in a home and organize those ideas into a workable blueprint. The architectural planning process will encompass multiple meetings and revisions until your ideas are transformed into your dream home.
If you already have a previously designed blueprint, we will be glad to work with your plans. We will review those blueprints, utilizing our extensive construction knowledge, and make any suggestions that could improve the functionality or cost of the design.
Home Selections and Specifications
We will provide you with the opportunity to work with a professional decorator that will assist you with your interior and exterior selections. These selections range from exterior selections of rock, brick, stucco, custom doors and windows to interior finishes of flooring, cabinets, countertops, appliances and lighting fixtures. If you already know your style and choose to forgo the assistance of a designer, then we will provide you with a list of our preferred vendors and suppliers to help you with your selections. There are many details during the process, so we highly recommend working with a decorator or designer.
It is extremely important for all of the details of a real estate transaction to be documented, reviewed and accepted prior to beginning construction. There are a many specifications that go into the construction of a new custom home and need to be identified on the construction agreement.

We will provide an industry standard warranty that covers our workmanship and products used in your new home for one year; your mechanical components of plumbing, electrical and HVAC will be covered for two years; and a ten-year transferable warranty is provided on all structural components of your home.
